Courvoisier VSOP

Courvoisier VSOP

Courvoisier is a brand of cognac founded in Jarnac in 1836. In 1869, Napoleon III awarded it the title of "Official Supplier to the Imperial Court". The certificate is displayed in the Courvoisier Museum in Jarnac, alongside other Napoleonic objects. The brand is now owned by the Beam Suntory Group.

This VSOP is a blend of several vintages; it offers a perfect balance of Grande, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois, all at the peak of their aromatic potential.

Peach: this aroma comes from the selection of the best grapes, which develop sweet and succulent peach flavors during distillation.

Toasted almonds: after several years in fine-grained oak barrels, the cognac is enriched with notes of hazelnuts that evolve over time to sweet and praline-like flavors reminiscent of toasted almonds.

Jasmine: distillation on the lees is a complex and meticulous process that produces fruity and musky notes, reminiscent of the aroma of jasmine.

"Very smooth, with an excellent balance between woody and floral flavors. To be enjoyed neat, as a long drink or in a cocktail" Patrice Pinet, Maître de Chai
