No Sex for Butterfly Rosé 2021 - Pays d'Oc

This pure rosé of Syrah, aged in cement vats, is a real nectar of small red fruit, with freshness and vivacity.

Managed by Dominique Ricome, the family property of Château de Valcombe spreads over 73 hectares. They are divided into Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre for the reds and Roussanne, Grenache blanc and Viognier for the whites.

The No sex for Butterfly range was born because Dominique does not use chemicals but natural pheromone diffusers that disturb the butterflies, preventing their mating and thus the birth of Eudemis, a caterpillar that wreaks havoc in the vineyards.
