1974 Château Montaiguillon - Montagne Saint-Emilion
The Saint-Emilion appellation has satellite areas to which it has generously lent its name. The variety of the terroirs of Montagne-Saint-Emilion is reflected in the wines. Merlot represents 70% of the plantings, followed by Cabernet Franc and other Bordeaux grape varieties. The wines offer aromas of red fruits and plum.
At the top of a hill overlooking the region, Château Montaiguillon borders the Pomerol and Saint-Émilion appellations, and is a neighbor of the famous Grands Crus classés. Each year, a rigorous selection is made to elaborate an ideal blend, for a powerful, fine and aromatic wine.
