Classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé A in 1955 (first alone with Château Cheval Blanc, then joined in 2012 by Château Pavie and Château Angélus), Château Ausone is a 7-hectare wine estate located in Saint-Émilion. The vines are on small terraces and the plots, surrounded by stone, are sheltered from the wind and enjoy a perfect exposure. The Vauthier family has been watching over the vineyard since 1690, with an unchanging passion for the land.
