Gift box - "Sapiens"

A gift box to discover our two IGP Charentais Saint-Sornin vintages. It includes : 

- A bottle of Sapiens 2020: a blend of Gamay and Cabernet Franc, Sapiens comes from the hillsides overlooking the Tardoire. Its name evokes the traces of our distant ancestors, found in the nearby Placard cave, classified as a historical monument in 1989. Its ageing in barrels (second year barrels) gives it structure and ageing potential. This cuvée offers pleasant aromas of red and black fruits. The production is limited to 5000 bottles.

- A bottle of Petit Sapiens 2022: hand harvested Gamay and Cabernet Franc make up this easy-going wine, aged in vats for about 12 months and finished in three year old barrels. Production is limited to 8000 bottles.
